Happy Friday, fellow Linked Ins! Let's make sure we have a productive and feel-good day at the office by following these tips shared by one of our own:1️⃣ Start with Intent: Set your sights on what you want to achieve by the end of the day.2️⃣ Tackle High-Impact Tasks: Dive into the trickier tasks first and set the tone for the day.3️⃣ Embrace Collaboration: Schedule some team pow-wows, throw around ideas, and wrap up the week feeling like you've conquered the world together.4️⃣ Flexibility and Freedom: If you can tweak your schedule for a more laid-back flow, why not? A bit of flexibility turns the office into your Friday sanctuary.5️⃣ Reflect and Plan: Take a moment to high-five yourself for the wins and nod sagely at the lessons.6️⃣ Inject Fun and Socialize: Whether it's a team-building game or a mini celebration for hitting our goals, injecting good vibes into the workplace is non-negotiable.7️⃣ Clear the Inbox: Tackle the inbox clutter like a Friday cleaning spree. It's oddly satisfying, and who doesn't love that feeling of a tidy digital space? What's your Friday secret sauce? Share your tales in the comments! Let's swap stories and navigate the Friday vibe together. #FridayVibes #ProductivityTips #WorkplaceCulture

How do you start your work week?We have a 1️⃣ hour check-in on Monday mornings. Usually they're half an hour, but at the start of the week we like to have a bit more time to say hi and catch up before diving into work stuff. To kickstart work conversations, we use a bespoke format we like to call PowWowGo (catchy, right?! 🤭)🏺 POTIONS: we go through the tasks on our To Do lists for the week; our tasks are listed in a @NotionHQ database with details and due dates.🤩 WOWS: good things of the week; for example opening your email, finding a purchase order and being able to issue an invoice for a forthcoming project!👹 GOBLINS: blockers and obstacles we'd like to get rid of. These can include sore backs, lack of focus, tiredness or having trouble prioritising tasks. We created a @Miro_App board to help us have fun with that process. It has a firepit for the goblins, the annoying things we'd like to torch. We celebrate good things in the Wonder Cloud and there's a space for needs - these are Anne's needs from last week.As a remote team it's easy to go adrift, work in isolation and not connect with colleagues much so we have to work extra hard to avoid all those pitfalls. So, that's our Monday ritual. Tell us yours.#Monday #checkin #needs #priorities #tasks #ritual #remoteteam

Happy Friday, who's ready for the weekend?! I know I am! ✋🏻This Friday I want to switch things up and share some of my Time Management Tips to help YOU be more effective in your day to day. ⌚Whether you have a busy work life, personal life (or both), managing your time EFFECTIVLY is the only way to get in the million things we have to do every. single. day. 💥🤪Here are some of my quick tips to keep your sanity in this crazy thing called life: 1. Stay organized -- clean desk + clean inbox = clean mind. Set time aside at the end of every day to mentally, physically and emotionally prepare for the next day to ensure you're entering a calm, cool and collected work space the next day. 🧹🧠2. Time block -- set aside blocks of time in your calendar to get your daily duties done. Between interviews, client visits, marketing, training, lunch breaks (yes, put your lunch break in your calendar) and team building calls... there will not be enough hours in the day if you're not time blocking the time to do it.⏲ 📅 3. Prioritize, and then prioritize again -- 411s vs. 911s. Seems simple enough, right? Prioritize your day of must do items, actionable items and then what can be done in you're "free" time (PS- what is free time?). Whatever doesn't get done today, is top of the list for tomorrow! 📞📃Here's hoping this helps someone today. I hope you all have the opportunity to manage your time effetivley this weekend to sit back, relax and ENJOY the start of summer! 🌞#roberthalf #timemanagementtips

I work on weekends sometimes. Yes, I know all about the work/life balance, self-care, taking a break, give yourself space to take time off stuff and I absolutely do. But after a week of delivering for our clients? It's such a wonderful, spacious feeling to have a quiet Saturday morning, my girlfriend out at brunch with a friend, and I can just focus on continuing to build crazy awesome things with MAGNETIC (CONTENT-LED SALES).Anyway, so I woke up to this email from Steve. Even our internal emails are content. As CEO, he could have said:need process workflow charts done for each client. pls send thursday. thx.-steveInstead, well, he sent me what you see attached...It made me laugh, it had personality, it made me feel seen for the movie fanatic that I am, and more importantly, it made me want to take action. That's the difference between merely passing information and getting someone excited. And that's the sort of content we are creating for our clients as well. And that's why sometimes, yes, I do work weekends.

Over the years, I've learned that a little preparation goes a long way in making the most of my long weekends and time off. Before stepping into relaxation mode, I ensure all loose ends with my clients are tied off, and I prepare for the upcoming week.🤝 The number one rule for a seamless break is to avoid scheduling any meetings on the last day before or the first day back. These days are crucial for enjoying time away from the screen.📅 I block out time to plan my next week, set priorities, and create a to-do list. This way, I start Monday with clarity and focus.📧 I reach out to my clients to address pending tasks and align expectations. Open communication is key in our industry.🗂️ I tidy up my workspace and digital files, making it easier to dive back into work when I return. These golden rules help make sure I truly enjoy my long weekend without worry. Here's to a well-deserved break and a productive week ahead! 💪🏼#WeekendReady #FreelanceLife #PRConsultant #uaepr #prindustry #freelance #WeekendPrep #Productivity #LongWeekend

Saturday Work: Why I love it!Sometimes people ask why I like to work on weekends. If I'm teaching a class, travel time is usually better unless it happens to be on a holiday or when they're having the 5-borough bike ride or NYC marathon since I tend to either travel into or through NYC. Plus, I just love to teach and it's not a required work day for my regular job.Even when I'm not teaching, I prefer Saturday to be one of my work days. I can either concentrate on professional development or enjoy the increase in productivity due to lack of interruptions. I enjoyed the quietness of the office when I went to one and still enjoy it now, even when working from home. I'm more relaxed and can focus on tasks that require a longer attention span. Don't get me wrong, I love the people I work with and all the interactions we have. They're amazing and brilliant people and I love collaborating with them. As for family, Saturday's are typically a quiet time day leaving Sunday for getting out and having some fun. I'm off to enjoy my Saturday work day. Just don't tell anyone I'm in the office, I'm working in the dark for a reason! 😉 #SaturdayWork #QuietOffice #Productivity #HappyPlace

Happy Monday ☕! With summer coming to an end soon, here are my "#Sommerloch” (= summer gap) reflections and insights from the very hot past weeks:Summer is a challenge, especially in home office. So many colleagues, business contacts and friends on vacation. If you are not amongst these lucky ones, how to remain productive in such a slow phase – especially with good weather tempting you? Here are some personal tips and tricks from my side: 1️⃣🤝🏻RELATIONSHIP MANAGE: When completely new #businessdevelopment feels out of control due to strong out of offices, use the time for check-ins with all of your (prospective) clients. Those of your connections who ARE there will have a more relaxed schedule. Also, they will be at half-year point where they might be changing strategy and are more open to new thoughts. *Fun fact*: although the amount of new offers we sent in August were January level, it was our by far most successful booking month of the year, due to previous efforts made.2️⃣🤓 REVISE YOUR WAY OF WORKING: summer is a fantastic time to review current #processes implemented in way too busy months before. Are they actually working? Is it time to 2.0 adapt them – or create them, if missing? *Fun fact*: We finally created a clear content strategy across our business development and marketing team, a topic pushed backwards for sales topics in the months before.3️⃣ 🤗 FEEDBACK AND IN PERSON BONDING: Especially now with less external meetings, take some extra time to meet in person. Next to having fun at “Sommerfest”, take some time for outside workshops where possible. The effects of real talk on connection are strong. *Fun fact*: After the beach version in Fuerte Ventura, we did our “What sucks, what rocks” round 2 in Cologne on the grass vs. sand. 4️⃣ ✅ BOOST YOUR FOCUS AT WORK by allowing yourself to enjoy and be energized by the beautiful outdoors. Especially if you don’t have a regular fitness routine, start building a habit to move more daily in the easiest conditions.*Fun fact*: Every early morning, I go on a longer walk or occasional jog in the summer. By the time I’m at my laptop, I’m laser focused and happy I already accomplished a goal for myself today. Additional benefit: I don’t have FOMO for bunkering myself inside for the hot hours for work. On especially nice days, I love treating myself to a balcony lunch.Any insights from your side? Wishing you a productive start into this late #summer week 🌞 !

Here's a simple trick I implemented a while back to get the most out of my Friday afternoons (while also making it easier to fully disconnect over the weekend). Step 1: Add a recurring, 15-minute block to your calendar on Friday afternoon sometime between 3 and 5pm and title it "Next Week Planning" Step 2: At that same time every week, pour yourself a glass of your favorite beverage. If you are a long time listener of my pod, you already know mine is Topo ChicoStep 3: Spend 15-minutes looking at what you've got on the calendar for the week ahead. I color-code my calendar to help me prioritize, make sure you've got agendas for each key meeting and be sure to block time for important tasks/deliverables. Be sure to also block out any time for breaks and personal time i.e. doctor visits etc. Step 4: Head into your weekend confident that you invested time (that may otherwise have been unproductive) to prepare for the coming week, allow yourself time to rest, disconnect and get rid of the "Sunday Scaries"How do you like to finish out your work week?
